JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. -- The Indiana University women's golf team saw play suspended due to darkness with the final holes of the second round left to play at the Briar's Creek Invitational at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek in Johns Island, South Carolina.
Second-round play will resume at 8 a.m. ET followed by the third and final round.
The Hoosiers posted a 317 in the first round, led by a 2-over 74 from senior Elizabeth Tong. Tong had a pair of birdies in the round on the par-4 16th hole and par-5 18th hole.
Junior Camille Chevalier carded an 8-over 80 in the first round, with sophomore Ana Sanjuan one stroke behind at 81. Both junior Maria Mancini and freshman Pear Siriko posted an 82 in round one.
Playing as individuals, senior Kamryn Klawitter put up an 83 on the scoreboard, while freshman Alix Kong tallied a 90 before withdrawing for medical reasons.
