No. 13 Indiana and Dayton Workout on Lake Lemon

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana rowing team, ranked No. 13 in the latest CRCA Coaches Poll, welcomed the University of Dayton to Lake Lemon for an informal scrimmage, with both teams going through a number of different pieces over the course of the morning.
No team score was kept, but the Indiana crews had a good showing on the water with excellent conditions. The lineups for the first and second varsity boats were juggled throughout, as the team works towards the competitive season later this month. There were also a couple other novice boats that were able to compete against another school to gain some competitive experience.
"For us having been indoors for so long," Indiana head coach and 2014 National Coach of the Year Steve Peterson said, "Being able to get out on the water today and be able to put the training and physiology and the work on the erg machines - the kids were excited."
Indiana will host West Virginia next Saturday for a similar workout at Lake Lemon.
