FAIRFAX, Calif. -- The Indiana University women's golf team posted rounds of 296 and 312, good for 12th place at after two rounds of the Bay Area Intercollegiate at Meadow Club in Fairfax, California.
Washington leads the 13-team field at 555, followed by Oregon (566), Colorado (575), UC Davis (577) and UC Riverside (583) rounding out the top five.
The final round of action gets underway at 11:30 a.m. ET Tuesday.
Sophomore Ana Sanjuan is tied for 36th with a score of 150 (73-77). Sanjuan had three birdies in her first round, going -1 through the first 10 holes. Her second round saw her post 12 rounds of par.
Senior Elizabeth Tong is tied for 45th at 152 (73-79). Sitting at +2 after nine holes, Tong came back with birdies on the par-5 first hole and par-4 third hole. Tong added a birdie on the par-4 12th hole in round two.
Freshman Pear Siriko is also tied for 45th (75-77). Siriko had two birdies in round one on her way to a 3-over 75. Siriko tied for low round among the Hoosiers over the second 18 holes, carding 13 holes of par of better.
Junior Camille Chevalier is tied for 54th in the field with a score of 154 (75-79). After a double bogey to start round one, Chevalier bounced back to go -2 over the next eight holes, with birdies on 10 and 15. Chevalier continued her mastery of the 10th hole with another birdie in the second round.
Rounding out the Indiana lineup is junior Maria Mancini in a tie for 65th (78-82/160). Mancini also had a pair of birdies, going one under on the par-4 16th hole and par-3 fifth hole. In round two Mancini posted a score of three on the par-4 17th hole for her third birdie of the day.
