Taylor Pearson (Field Hockey) and Wes Martin (Football) have been recognized as Scholar Athletes of the Month for April.

"I am proud of the improvements Taylor has made academically during the spring semester. After struggling in the fall with balancing college curriculum and being an emerging star of the Field Hockey team, Taylor has now finished the spring semester with top marks in all of her courses. It has been rewarding to see Taylor's work ethic improve and to witness her grow as a student-athlete. "This past semester Wes showed a tremendous commitment to his academics which resulted in his highest GPA. Wes has had a standout month not only in academics but setting records in the weight room as well.
