Connor 12th at FINA World Championships

KAZAN, Russia — Indiana University sophomore diver James Connor placed 12th in the men's synchronized platform final on Sunday at the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
Connor teamed up with Domonic Bedggood to represent Australia in the event, tallying 375.12 points to place 12th in the final round. The duo advanced to the final after a score of 388.80 was good for ninth place in prelims.
Action continues Monday for the Hoosiers at the world championships, as junior Michael Hixon will compete in the 1-meter springboard final for Team USA. Sophomore Jessica Parratto and former IU All-American Amy Cozad will also compete in the women's synchronized platform event.
