School Records Continue to Fall at Indiana Relays
Nakel McClinton broke her own school record in the weight throw with a mark of 20.72m. Danielle Quinn won the triple jump with a career best mark of 12.45m.  That moves her into third in school history and second in the conference. Competing unattached Sophie Gutermuth wins the pole vault with a mark of 4.22m. Sydney Clute finished second with a mark of 4.12m.
Brenna Calder used a late surge to place second in the mile with a season best time of 4:50.68. She finished first among collegiate runners in the meet. The Hoosiers swept the 3,000m run. Katherine Receveur led the way with a season best time of 9:41.36. Corinne Cominator finished second with a time of 9:51.38, Kelsey Harris, 9:53.35, was third, and Madison Stenger finished fourth with a 10:01.79.
 Jeyland Valentin and Riley Egbula both won their heats of the 400m dash with times of 57.95 and 56.83 respectively. Taylor Wiley finished fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:12.86. Kellie Davis posted a season best time of 2:14.60 to place eighth in the event.Â
Rorey Hunter finished third, first among collegiate runner, in the mile with a season best 4:04.46.  Kyle Duvall finished with a time of 4:04.63, Jason Crist with a time of 4:05.64, and Matt Schwartzer with a time of 4:06.13. All four of them now rank in the top twenty nationally. Owen Skeete won the 3,000m with a season best time of 8:13.03. Jeremy Coughler finished in third with a time of 8:14.57, and Connor Martin, 8:21.82, took fifth.
 Zach Bray finished sixth in a highly competitive 60m hurdle final with a career best time of 8.04. After winning the 200m dash last night, Cornelius Strickland finished fourth in the 60m dash finals with a time of 6.92. Zach Reitzug finished fourth in the 400m dash with a season best time of 48.59. Marco Burkert finished fifth with a time of 48.62 and Diquis Manley was seventh with a time of 48.65.
The Hoosier 4x400m relay team of Reitzug, Daniel Kuhn, Burkert, and Markevious Roach took second with a season best time of 3:13.27.
Indiana will be back in action next weekend as they travel to South Bend to compete in the Meyo Invitational.
