MATCHING UP WITH MICHIGAN
The Wolverines opened conference play with five straight wins, before falling to Illinois on Oct. 6. One of the most impressive Big Ten wins for Michigan was a 3-2 overtime victory against Rutgers on Sept. 29. In non-conference action, the Wolverines came away with a 2-0 win against No. 12 Notre Dame in August. Michigan is led in scoring by Reilly Martin (six goal, seven assists) and Nicky Waldeck (six goals, three assists). In addition, Ani Sarkisian and Abby Kastroll have each netted five goals for the Wolverines. In between the pipes, Sarah Jackson has got the start in 14 games, making 60 saves with six shutouts and 0.90 goals against average.
IU trails in the all-time series, 4-15-3. with Michigan winning the last five matchups. The most recent win for Indiana was a 2008 1-0 victory in Bloomington.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers traveled to Purdue on Saturday night in the battle for the Golden Boot. Behind two goals from redshirt sophomore Mykayla Brown, the Hoosiers drew with the Boilermakers, 2-2. Brown's equalized the game in the 82nd minute just four minutes after Purdue had taken a 2-1 lead. With the draw, the Hoosiers remain unbeaten in West Lafayette since 2011.
BROWN'S BIG GAME
Brown's two scores at Purdue marked the second time she has netted a pair of goals in a game this season after also doing so against JMU on Sept. 11. It is also the first time since 2007 that a single player has scored multiple goals in two games in a season.
In addition, her six goals are the most for a Hoosier in a single season since Lisa Nouanesengsy scored 11 in 2013.
SENIOR NIGHT
Prior to the game, the Hoosiers will pay tribute to its senior class made up of Marissa Borschke, Veronica Ellis and Ari Kowalski. These seniors have tallied 32 total wins, including a school-record 15 victories in 2013, a season that saw the Hoosiers finish fourth in the Big Ten while advancing to the Round of 32 in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament. This season, this group has led Indiana to a 4-3-3 conference mark as the Hoosiers look to return to the Big Ten Tournament for the first time since 2013.
Off the field, the group has won three Herbert Cups, as well as three consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Awards and five Academic All-Big Ten nods.
SPREADING THE WEALTH
• The Hoosiers have scored 23 goals on the season, the most for the program since the 2013 squad scored 43.

• Brown leads the way with six goals, while Borschke, Kilgore and sophomores Cassidy Blacha and Caroline Dreher each have a pair of scores.
• Five Hoosiers have netted their first career goals this year - Dreher (Aug. 26 vs. Butler), junior Kylie Kirk (Sept. 25 vs. Wisconsin), freshman Allison Jorden (Sept. 25 vs. Wisconsin), Kilgore (Oct. 9 vs. Rutgers) and Davidson (Oct. 13 at Ohio State).

WHAT WOULD L'HOMMEDIEU?

In addition, the Hudson, Ohio native is tied for 39th in the country in total saves. Amongst freshmen, L'Hommedieu has the sixth-most in the nation. Her 87 saves is currently tied for eighth-most in a single season at IU and is the second-most ever for an Indiana freshman, trailing Merit Elzey who registered 110 in 1994.
