We take a look back at the Hoosiers 73-49 exhibition win over Bellarmine by the numbers...
• IU improves to 16-0 in exhibition games under Tom Crean, and 23-0 in preseason contests against lower division schools.
• The Hoosier defense forced 20 Knight turnovers which resulted in 13 steals and 19 points off of turnovers.
• IU made 23 of 32 shots from inside the arc (71.9%).
• Sophomore OG Anunoby let his defense and offensive rebounding fuel his offense to the tune of 25 points. He made 10 of 12 shots, 3 of 5 from long distance and finished with six rebounds and two steals. He had eight second change points. Anunoby averaged 20.5 points and shot 16 of 20 from the floor (80.0) and 7 of 11 from long range (63.6).
• Sophomore Thomas Bryant made five of six shot and had 11 points and eight rebounds. In two exhibitions, he averaged 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds and shot 64.7 from the field.
• Junior James Blackmon, Jr., scored all 10 of his points in the second half. He also had four boards and two assists.
• Junior Robert Johnson had seven points, three rebounds, assists and steals in 22 minutes. He averaged 10.0 points in exhibition play.
• Junior Josh Newkirk had six points, three rebounds and four assists. In two games, he had 11 assists and just one turnover.
• Junior college transfer Freddie McSwain, Jr., was cleared to play for the first time and had eight rebounds in eight minutes of play.
• Freshman De'Ron Davis had four points, two rebounds and tied for the team lead with three steals. He had eight offensive rebounds in two games.
• Freshman Grant Gelon hit both of his three-point field goals.
