18 IN A ROW
With a 4-0 mark inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall this season, IU continued the program's longest home win streak with the 100-49 victory over Northern Kentucky on Thursday. The 18-straight wins are also tied for the seventh-best active streak in the NCAA.
REACHING THE CENTURY MARK
IU scored 100 points in Thursday's 100-49 win over Northern Kentucky, the first time it reached the century mark since the 2014-15 season. It was just the second time under third year head coach Teri Moren, whose team scored 115 points in her IU debut against Gardner Webb in 2014-15. Six players also scored in double figures led by 16 points from senior guard Karlee McBride. Junior forward Amanda Cahill (14), junior guard Tyra Buss (14), sophomore forward Kym Royster (13) and senior forward Jenn Anderson (12) all recorded double-digits, also the first time since 2014-15 that IU has had six players score in double figures.
GOOD FROM THE FIELD
Posting back-to-back 60 percent field goal scoring games, Indiana currently ranks third in the nation in that category with an overall shooting percentage of 50.3 percent. It ranks third behind the national leader Maryland (51.9) and California (51.0). It also marked the fifth time this season Indiana has shot 50 percent or better.
CLEAN THE GLASS
The Hoosiers have dominated on the glass in both games this week, outrebounding North Texas and Northern Kentucky, 93-36. Against the Mean Green, Indiana posted a +31 margin (44-14) which is the largest since the record has been kept track of beginning in 2008-09. It bested a previous high of 28 against St. Louis in the 2008-09 season. IU was also able to easily outrebound Northern Kentucky on Thursday night, recording a 49-22 mark on the glass.
POINTS IN THE PAINT
Indiana continues to produce a majority of its points inside the paint this season as it scored a season-high 64 points against Northern Kentucky. It marked the sixth time this season IU has scored at least 44 points in the lane and reached 50 or more for the second time (50, vs. Presbyterian).
HORIZON LEAGUE SWING
