• Indiana has now won 24 consecutive games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, the sixth longest streak in program history and the fifth longest active streak in the nation.
• IU's 42-point margin of victory is the most since defeating Alcorn State 112-70 last season.
• IU outrebounded Houston Baptist 45-31. The Hoosiers have held the rebounding edge in every game this season outside of the UNC game (tied at 37 per team). Indiana ranks second in the country in rebound margin (+14.8).
• Defensively, the Hoosiers held the Huskies to 25-fot-66 (37.9 percent) shooting, the fifth consecutive game the IU had held its opponent under 40 percent, the longest streak since the 2012-13 season.
• IU came into the game allowing opponents to shoot just 26.4 percent from the 3-point line. Houston Baptist shot 2-for-17 from deep, just 11.8 percent. It's the lowest opponent 3-point percentage since Jan. 30, 2016, when Minnesota went 2-of-18 (11.1 percent)
• After trailing 10-12 early in the first half, Indiana went on a 21-2 extended scoring run to take a 31-14 lead. The run covered 6:30 on the game clock. IU did not relinquish the lead for the remainder of the game.
• Five Hoosiers scored in double figures in the game, marking the third time that has happened this season.
• The Hoosier bench outscored the Huskies, 37-9 on the evening. Over the last three games, Indiana's bench has outscored opposing bench players by a 100-30 margin.
• IU poured in 61 points in the second half, the second highest total under Tom Crean and the most since scoring 61 in the second half against Illinois last season.
• James Blackmon Jr. led the Hoosiers with 18 points on the evening. Through 54 career games, Blackmon has netted 859 career points.
• Juwan Morgan's impressive shooting streak ended at 14 consecutive made shots – believed to be a school record. He ended the night with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting and ripped down seven rebounds.
• Thomas Bryant tied a career-high with 13 rebounds. He has now registered double-figure rebounds in consecutive games. Bryant also scored nine points and blocked four shots.
• Curtis Jones led the bench scoring with 11 points, tied a career-high in rebounds with three and dished out two assists.
• Josh Newkirk contributed 10 points, three boards and three dimes in his seventh start of the season.
• Robert Johnson was in double figures with 10 points. Johnson was big on the glass, hauling down five rebounds.
• Devonte Green poured in a career-high eight points in 16 minutes of action.
• Zach McRoberts dished out a team-high, and career-high, four assists in 16 minutes on the floor.
• De'Ron Davis scored three points to go along with three rebounds and two assists.
• Freddie McSwain Jr. scored a career-high eight points on 3-for-4 shooting. McSwain also brought down four rebounds.
• Grant Gelon knocked down his lone shot attempt to finish the night with three points.
• Tim Priller had a career night, scoring four points, grabbing a rebound and recording one assist.
• Quentin Taylor saw two minutes of action.
