Nakel McClinton broke her own school record in the weight throw for the second consecutive week. Her mark of 20.78m (68-2.25) was enough to win the highly competitive event. She remains as the tenth best weight thrower in the country and the top thrower in the Big Ten. Andrew Miller took ninth in the weight throw with a season best mark of 19.65m (64-5.75).
Zach Bray and Adrian Mable both qualified for the 60m hurdles semi-finals based on their times. The semis will be run tomorrow at 10:45AM and the finals will be at 2:05PM. Cornelius Strickland qualified for the semi-finals in the 60m dash. The start time for the 60m semis is 11:00AM with the finals at 2:15PM. Adam Wallace took first in his heat, fifth overall, in the 600m run with a season best time of 1:19.72. Jeremy Coughler finished ninth in the 5,000m run with a time of 14:28.97, a season best. Taylor Williams took seventh in the 600m run with a season best mark of 1:32.50.
Tomorrow's action will begin when the women hit the track for the 3,000m run. The gun will go off at approximately 9:45 in the morning. Many of the top runners will be in action tomorrow as most of the running events are invitational sections.
All the action can be followed via the Indiana Track and Field Twitter page and the Live Results page.
