INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana University diver Lacey Houser placed 24th in the 3-meter dive at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Houser posted a total of 213.50 points to place 24th in the 3-meter dive at the Trials. The meet caps a great senior season for Houser, who earned All-America honors in the 3-meter dive at the NCAA Championships with her eighth place finish.
Next up for the Hoosiers at the U.S. Olympic Trials will be the finals of the men's 3-meter synchro and the women's 10-meter synchro on Wednesday at 9 p.m.
IU's Michael Hixon and his teammate Sam Dorman of Miami (FL) lead the men's 3-meter synchro, while Indiana's team of Jessica Parratto and Amy Cozad lead the women's 10-meter synchro.
At the Trials, scores will be cumulative over three lists of dives (preliminaries, semifinals and finals). The top team in each of the men's synchronized 3-meter and women's synchronized 10-meter events will be selected to the U.S. Olympic Team.
Live coverage of both finals will air live on NBC Sports Network and online with NBC Sports Live Extra at 9 p.m.
