IU Hosts Wolf Run Intercollegiate To Open 2016-17 Season

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Indiana University men's golf team will open the 2016-17 season by hosting the Wolf Run Intercollegiate at Wolf Run Golf Club in Zionsville, Indiana. The event is slated for 54 holes with the 14 team field playing 36 holes on Saturday and then 18 holes on Sunday.

This season marks the ninth time that Indiana has competed at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate, but the first time it has been the season opening event since the start of the 2010-11 season. Here's a look at how they have finished the in the previous eight editions:

NEW FACE
Brock Ochsenreiter (pronounced "Oxen-writer), a freshman from Nashville, Tennessee, earned the No. 3 spot in the lineup this week and will make his collegiate debut. He is the two-time defending Division II-AA state champion in Tennessee and finished his junior career with a scoring average of 73.1 in the last 48 events. He also earned Player of the Year honors in 2015 from The Tennessean.
