No. 6 Indiana Hosts In-State Rival IUPUI on Tuesday Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 6-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will play host to in-state rival IUPUI on Tuesday night in Bloomington.

The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium and will be streamed live on BTN Plus. Live stats for the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com.

SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 6-ranked Indiana Hoosiers enter Tuesday's match with IUPUI with an overall record of 4-0-3 on the season after drawing with Northwestern on Sunday, 0-0.
• The Hoosiers dominated on Sunday but couldn't break through despite out-shooting the Wildcats, 28-3. The 28 shots are the most in a game for IU since 33 vs. Ohio State on Sept. 29, 2013.
• With his fourth shutout of the season, GK Colin Webb has recorded 24 in his career, moving him in to ninth place all-time in school history.
• IU is looking to remain unbeaten in the team's first eight games for the first time since 2011 and for the 11th time in program history.
• The Hoosiers come in to the 2016 season coming off another terrific season in 2015, reaching the NCAA Tournament for a record 29-straight season and 40th overall in program history.
• After qualifying for the NCAA Tournament last year, the Hoosiers extended their streak to 29-straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
• The IUPUI Jaguars enter Tuesday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 0-5-0 on the season overall.
• The Jaguars have been out-scored, 20-2, on the young season so far, but both goals came in a 4-2 defeat at home to No. 10 Butler.
• In that match, IUPUI came back to tie the Bulldogs, 1-1 and then again at 2-2, before Butler scored the match's final two goals to earn the victory.
• Jordan Parron and Uriel Macias have netted a score each for IUPUI this season.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, the Jaguars were picked to finish seventh in the Summit League.
• Last season, the Jaguars posted an overall mark of 1-9-7 with a record of 1-2-3 in Summit League play.

SERIES HISTORY
• In the overall history between Indiana and IUPUI dating back to 2000, the Hoosiers hold a record of 8-0-0 against the Jaguars.
• In the series, the Hoosiers have out-scored IUPUI, 27-3, with all eight matches having been played at Armstrong Stadium.
• In last year's contest, the Hoosiers beat the Jaguars, 4-0, with Austin Panchot, Matt Foldesy and Femi Hollinger-Janzen all scoring for IU.

• Indiana is ranked No. 6 in the country by College Soccer News and No. 13 by Top Drawer Soccer.
• The National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA) National Poll and the Soccer America poll are both released on Tuesday afternoon.

• In the NCAA statistical rankings released on Monday, the Hoosiers rank seventh in the nation in team goals against average (0.39), 10th in save percentage (0.875) and 13th in shutout percentage (0.57).
• GK Colin Webb ranks eighth in the nation in goals against average (0.391) and 12th in save percentage (0.870), while Tanner Thompson ranks 18th in game-winning goals (2).
• As a team in the Big Ten, IU leads the league in save percentage, shutout percentage (0.57) and team goals against average.
• Individually in the Big Ten, Colin Webb leads in shutouts (4), goals against average and save percentage.
