No. 1 Hoosiers Host No. 19 Kentucky on Wednesday Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will host rival and No. 19-ranked rival Kentucky on Wednesday night in Bloomington, Ind.
Kickoff at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET., with live stats available at IUHoosiers.com. The match will be streamed live via BTN Plus on BTN2Go.com.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will host rival Kentucky on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
• The Hoosiers enter Wednesday's contest with a 10-0-2 record on the season overall after beating Penn State on the road, 1-0, on Saturday night.
• Freshman goalkeeper Trey Muse has played well this season, posting a NCAA-best 10 shutouts while allowing just two goals with 28 saves.
• Freshman Mason Toye lead the Hoosiers with six goals and 13 points on the season, while junior Andrew Gutman has scored five times this year.
• Junior Austin Panchot, junior Rece Buckmaster and freshman Griffin Dorsey lead the team with four assists each.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• The Kentucky Wildcats come to Bloomington with an overall record of 7-2-2 on the season after beating South Carolina at home on Sunday, 1-0.
• In this week's national polls, the Wildcats are ranked 19th in the United Soccer Coaches rankings, 22nd by College Soccer News and 25th by Top Drawer Soccer.
• Kentucky's two losses this season have come at home to Cincinnati and on the road at Old Dominion, 2-0.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, Kentucky was picked to finish fourth in Conference USA. D Alex Bumpus was named to Conference USA's Preseason All-Conference team.
• In 2016, the Wildcats posted an overall record of 11-5-3 on the season, losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at home to Creighton, 3-2.

DORSEY PLAYS FOR U.S. U-18 NATIONAL SQUAD
• Indiana freshman Griffin Dorsey was one of 20 players selected for the U.S. U-18 Men's National Team on Oct. 1.
• Dorsey and the U.S. U18 team played a pair of friendly matches in Spain. The camp began on Oct. 2 with games against Belgium on Thursday, Oct. 5, and Russia on Sunday, Oct. 9.
• Dorsey is no stranger to the U.S. U-18 squad, having played for the team in tournaments in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Portugal.

• Junior Cory Thomas is enjoying the best scoring stretch of his career, scoring four goals and recording three assists in the last six matches.
