Hoosiers Welcome Iowa, Travel to Wisconsin
Bloomington, Ind. – This week the Indiana volleyball team will host Iowa on Wednesday Oct. 11 and travel to Wisconsin for a match on Friday Oct. 13.

CAREER MILESTONE
Sophomore setter Victoria Brisack reached a career milestone in the Hoosiers match vs. Purdue on Sept. 30. Brisack passed 1,000 career assists and now has 1,115 assists for her career. Brisack currently ranks fifth in the Big Ten and 17th in the NCAA in assists per set. Brisack will be presented with a ceremonial game ball for the milestone achievement prior to the match against Iowa. Most recently Brisack notched two double-double this past week with 53 assists and 11 digs at Illinois and 43 assists and 11 digs at Northwestern.
FRESHMEN IMPACT
The Indiana freshmen have played a combined 138 sets this season. This past week freshman Kamryn Malloy led the Hoosiers in kills in both matches, with 14 against Northwestern and 15 against Illinois. Freshman Nora Meehan started both matches at libero and combined for 28 digs, including 18 in a four-set match against Illinois. Freshman Bayli Lebo has played in 63 of the 65 sets played. Lebo is third on the team in aces with 20 and has recorded 106 digs for the season. Freshmen Alexis Parker Malloy have combined for 120 kills this season for the Hoosiers.
MIDDLE BLOCKER COMBO
Sticking with the theme of youth, the Hoosiers starting middle blocker tandem of sophomores Deyshia Lofton and Hayden Huybers were impressive in the matches against Northwestern and Illinois. Lofton and Huybers combined for 45 kills and 20 blocks in the two matches. Against Illinois they combined for 27 kills and a .415 hitting percentage.
BTN DIG PINK MATCH
The Hoosiers will host Rutgers on Friday Oct. 20 in a match that will be nationally televised on the Big Ten Network. The match will also be the Hoosiers dig pink match in support of breast cancer awareness. The team encourages fans to wear pink to the match and will give away pink shirts as well.
