Hoosiers Travel to Northwestern, Illinois

Bloomington, Ind. – After three out of four matches at home to start Big Ten play, the Indiana volleyball team will play seven of the next 10 on the road. They start that stretch this weekend with a match at Northwestern (Oct. 6) and at Illinois (Oct. 7).

CAREER MILESTONE
Sophomore setter Victoria Brisack reached a career milestone in the Hoosiers match vs. Purdue on Sept. 30. Brisack passed 1,000 career assists and now has 1,017 assists for her career. Brisack currently ranks fourth in the Big Ten and 15th in the NCAA in assists per set.
LEADING THE WAY
Redshirt sophomore Kendall Beerman leads the Hoosiers in kills this season with 187 (3.60 per set). Beerman has tallied double-digit kills in 10 of the Hoosiers last 10 matches. Beerman is second on the team in digs with 134 and fourth in aces with 16.
CHANGE OF VENUE
With construction to Welsh-Ryan Arena, the Hoosiers will play the Northwestern Wildcats at Evanston Township High School.
FRESHMEN IMPACT
The Indiana freshmen have played a combined 114 sets this season. Freshman Bayli Lebo has played in 55 of the 56 sets played. Lebo is second on the team in aces with 17 and has recorded 95 digs for the season. Freshmen Alexis Parker and Kamryn Malloy have combined for 91 kills this season for the Hoosiers.
BACK AT HOME
The Hoosiers will next play back home at University Gym on Wednesday Oct. 11 at 7:00 p.m. against Iowa. Following that home match, the next home match will be a nationally televised match against Rutgers on Friday Oct. 20 at 6:00 p.m.
