Feb. 12, 2017
• IU scored 42 of its 63 points in the paint, led by De'Ron Davis. The freshman led Indiana in scoring with 13 points on 4-of-5 shot attempts and 5-of-6 free throws. Davis also grabbed three boards.
• Indiana outrebounded Michigan 32-29 this afternoon. Coming into the game the Hoosiers boasted the conference's best rebounding differential (+8.4). The Hoosiers turned eight offensive rebounds into 15 second chance points.
• Josh Newkirk scored in double-figures with 11 points. Newkirk connected on 5-of-10 shots in 32 minutes on the court.
• Juwan Morgan netted 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and hauled in five rebounds.
• Indiana's defense held Michigan to just 2-of-12, 17 percent, from behind the arc in the second half.
• Thomas Bryant tallied eight points, five rebounds and a team-high three blocked shots.
• Robert Johnson led the Hoosiers with seven rebounds and four assists. Johnson scored five points and extended his streak of knocking down a three-point shot in every Big Ten game this season.
• James Blackmon Jr. scored six points to go along with three rebounds and one assist.
• Curtis Jones notched three points and one assists in nine minutes off of the bench.
• Devonte Green contributed two points and two rebounds.
• Zach McRoberts had one assist and one steal in 11 minutes off of the bench.
• Freddie McSwain Jr. made the most of limited action, scoring four points and bringing in three rebounds. McSwain made both of his shot attempts.
• Indiana's bench outscored the Wolverines 22-14.
• IU dished out 10 assists, the 23rd time in 26 games with at least 10 assists this season.
