Ranked Opponents Up Next for Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team will play two matches this weekend against ranked opponents, including its Big Ten opener.
The Schedule
Friday, February 10 at 7:00 PM ET
Indiana at #17 Illinois
Sunday, February 12 at 12:00 PM ET
Indiana vs. #15 Kentucky
Last Meeting
Last season, the Illini beat the Hoosiers 4-0.
Kentucky plays Indiana for the second-straight year, the Wildcats won 6-1 last year.
About the Illini
Illinois comes in ranked No. 17 in the ITA rankings and 2-2 on the season. The Illini are coming off of a 5-2 loss to the No. 7 ranked North Carolina Tar Heels.
Three singles players from the Illini are ranked. At No. 21, Aron Hiltzik, No. 31 Aleks Vukic, and No. 123 Aleksandar Kovacevic.
About the Wildcats

Junior Raheel Manji was named Big Ten Athlete of the Week after he beat the No. 109 ranked singles player of Princeton and the No. 16 ranked doubles team last Saturday.
Looking Ahead
On Feb. 17, the Hoosiers host the Memphis Tigers at 6:00 PM in the IU Tennis Center. Later that weekend, Indiana goes to South Bend for a Sunday matinee against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
