Frappell Selected For Canadian U-23 National Team

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – The Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) announced their selections for the U-23 National Team that will compete at the World Rowing U-23 Championships in July and Antonia Frappell, a rising sophomore at Indiana, was one of the athletes selected.
"I want to thank the coaching staff at Indiana for being so supportive of me this past year and through this process to make the team," Frappell said. "I will proudly represent IU while I'm with my national team this summer in Bulgaria."
Frappell, a native of Victoria, British Columbia, will be part of the Canadian Women's Eight that will compete at the U-23 Championships. This past season as a freshman, while beginning her work towards a degree in English at IU, she was part of the Hoosiers' First Varsity Eight that took third place at the Big Ten Championships and finished 12th at the NCAA Championships.
The 2017 World Rowing U-23 Championships take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from July 19-23. For more information, visit the regatta website.
