Second Round 72 Has Ochsenreiter Inside Top 30 at Olympia Fields

CHICAGO – For the second straight day, Indiana sophomore Brock Ochsenreiter carded a 2-over par round of 72 and is tied for 29th heading into the final round of the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational at Olympia Fields Country Club North Course.

As a team, Indiana logged a team score of 298 to give them a 36-hole score of 596 and 14th place. North Carolina is in 13th place with a score of 582 and Navy is in 15th place with a score of 611.

Ochsenreiter began his round with bogeys on two of his first three holes before rebounding with a birdie on his fourth hole. He would go on to play his final 14 holes in 1-over par, including 11 consecutive pars to finish the round. It's his second straight round of 72 and he sits in a tie for 29th individually.

Jake Brown, who opened with a 71 on Friday, registered a 77 in round two and is tied for 45th at 8-over par through 36 holes.

Brendon Doyle trimmed three shots off his first round score to finish with a 74 on Saturday and he is tied for 58th at 11-over par.

Freshman Ethan Shepherd regrouped on Saturday to card a score of 75 and he is tied for 64th with a score of 154.

And Evan Gaesser posted a score of 80 on Saturday and is tied for 75th at 18-over par through 36 holes.
