Hoosiers Fall at No. 5 Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Indiana volleyball team fell on the road at No. 5 Nebraska 3-0 (13-25, 28-30, 11-25) at the Devaney Sports Center on Wednesday.

• On their third ace in the opening set Nebraska went up 13-6 in the first set.
• After trailing 17-9 in the second set, the Hoosiers scored four straight and got to within four at 17-13 on a kill from Hayden Huybers.
• With a kill from Deyshia Lofton and two Nebraska hitting errors Indiana tied it 20-20 in the second set.
• Tied 28-28 in the second set Indiana made an attack error and Nebraska got a kill to win the set, 30-28.
• Nebraska scored 11 of the first 13 points of the third set and won it 25-11.

• The Hoosiers are now 11-7 overall and 2-5 in the Big Ten.
• Victoria Brisack posted a double-double with 16 assists and 10 digs.
• Hayden Huybers posted seven kills on 15 attempts to hit .400 in the match.
• Huybers and Lexi Johnson each recorded three blocks and the Hoosiers had six team blocks.
• The second set had nine ties and four lead changes.
• Indiana had two set points in the second set. (26-25 and 28-27).
