Indiana vs. Iowa
Team
• Indiana has scored 48 points off of 14 takeaways this season. The Hoosiers have a takeaway in all seven games and an interception in six of seven games.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the seventh straight game.
• Former Indiana (2012-15) and current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nate Sudfeld served as today's honorary game captain.
• IU celebrated the life of George Taliaferro, who passed away on Monday at the age of 91, with a pre-game moment of silence and by wearing his No. 44 on the left side of the team's helmets.
Offense
• Redshirt sophomore quarterback Peyton Ramsey was 31-for-42, for 263 yards and one touchdown in the air.
• In the third quarter, Ramsey rushed for his fifth career touchdown and third of the season. Ramsey has two games this season with a passing and rushing score and four in his career.
• The Hoosiers scored on their opening drive for the fifth time in seven games.
• The first drive was the 12th 10-plus play scoring drive (7 touchdowns, 5 field goals) of the season. Entering the game, IU was tied for fifth nationally in such scoring drives.
• Sophomore wide receiver Ty Fryfogle caught four passes for a career-high 71 yards and a touchdown. His 33-yard touchdown was the longest reception of his career.
• With six catches for 28 yards, true freshman Reese Taylor led the way for the Hoosiers and surpassed his single game-high in receptions.
• Taylor recorded a rush (1), reception (6) and a tackle (2) in the game.
• On top of his 51 yards receiving, redshirt junior wide receiver Donavan Hale matched his career-high with five catches.
• Fifth-year senior offensive lineman Delroy Baker made his first start of the season and fifth of his career.
Defense
• Redshirt freshman linebacker Thomas Allen notched his first career interception, the Hoosiers 14th takeaway of the season (8 INT, 6 Fumbles). He is the eighth different Hoosier with a pick in 2018.
• Redshirt sophomore husky Marcelino Ball and fifth-year senior linebacker Dameon Willis Jr. shared the team-high in tackles with six.
• For the second straight week, redshirt freshman defensive back Juwan Burgess had a career-high five stops.
• Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Jerome Johnson recorded his second sack of the season, the third of his career, to end the first half. Johnson added career-highs with five tackles and two TFLs.
• Freshman husky Cam Jones tied his career-high with three tackles.
• Fifth-year senior defensive lineman Mike Barwick Jr. made his first start of the season and the second of his career.
Special Teams
• Redshirt junior kicker Logan Justus converted on one field goal (29 yards), to improve to 8-for-10 on the season.
• Redshirt junior Haydon Whitehead punted four times for 177 yards (44.2 average) and booted one punt for 50 yards, his eighth career 50-plus yard punt.
