The Indiana men's golf team is in third place after 36 holes of the Chatham Hills Collegiate at the Club at Chatham Hill in Westfield, Indiana. Sophomore Ethan Shepherd set a new career-best with a 66 in round two and is tied for sixth overall at 4-under par for the tournament. The five players competing in the team lineup are all T25 or better for Indiana.

• Sophomore Ethan Shepherd continued his stellar play of late, as he sits in a tie for sixth place after two rounds with a score of 140 (74-66; -4). Shepherd's opening round featured two birdies and four bogeys before he turned things up in the second round. He carded an eagle – thanks to a 54-foot putt – and five birdies compared to just one bogey.

• The 66 in round two sets a new career best for the Greenwood, Indiana native.

• Senior Jake Brown is tied for ninth at 3-under par (141) after rounds of 71 and 70 on Sunday. The opening round saw Brown record four birdies but they were offset by a double bogey and one bogey. In the second round, Brown was once again consistent, logging four birdies and just two bogeys.

• Junior Brock Ochsenreiter continueds to roll along for IU, as he is tied for 16th with a score of 143 (-1). He opened the day with a difficult finish to round one, closing with bogey-birdie-double bogey to fall back to 2-under par 70. Then in round two, he has four birdies an five bogeys en route to 1-over par 73.

• Also tied for 16th is freshman Harry Reynolds, making his debut in the IU team lineup this weekend. In the opening round, Reynolds had six birdies and five bogeys on his way to a 71. Then in round two, he finished with one eagle, three birdies and five bogeys to post 72.

• Another freshman, Mitch Davis, is tied for 25th at Even par (70-74). He had six birdied in round one but played holes 16-18 in 3-over par to fall back to 2-under for his opening round. And it was once again the closing holes on the back nine that proved to be his unraveling with bogeys on 14-16 on the way to 2-over 74.

• Junior Evan Gaesser, competing as an individual, is tied for 16th at 1-under par after rounds of 72 and 71.

• Also competing as indivuals are Trevor Ranton and Evan Yakubov. Ranton is tied for 58th with a score of 154 (73-81; +10) while Yakubov is tied for 63rd with a score of 155 (81-74; +11).
