STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Indiana volleyball team dropped a three-set match (18-25, 19-25, 18-25) on Friday at Rec Hall.

Key Moments
• The Nittany Lions started strong with a 7-1 lead in the opening set.
• Indiana scored three straight points to bring the score to 7-4, but Penn State responded with three straight of their own to seize momentum as they carried it to a 25-18 win in set one.
• Indiana got out to a 6-4 lead in the second set and led 13-10 on a block from Breana Edwards and Deyshia Lofton.
• At 14-14 in the second set, Penn State scored three straight to go up 17-14.
• Indiana was close late in the second set at 20-18, but Penn State used a 3-0 run to take control up 23-18 and win the second set, 25-19.
• With the third set tied, 7-7 Penn State scored three straight to go up 10-7.
• After pushing their lead to 15-10, an ace by Meaghan Koors put Indiana within three in the third set at 18-15.
• Penn State scored seven of the final 10 points to win the third set 25-18 and win the match.

• Indiana drops to 13-9 overall and 4-7 in Big Ten play. Penn State improves to 18-3 overall and 9-2 in Big Ten play.
• Freshman Breana Edwards led the Hoosiers in kills with nine.
• Junior Hayden Huyber connected on five kills and hit .500 in the match. Huybers added three blocks, including two solo blocks.
• Sophomore libero Bayli Lebo led Indiana with 15 digs.
• Four Indiana players had at least two blocks in the match and the Hoosiers recorded seven total team blocks.
