"Pretty fun night. I gotta start with the community and the student section was phenomenal. The support that is starting to develop at this school for volleyball is great to see. Michigan is missing one of their best kids and their setter is coming off an injury. They were battling. Michigan is a legit top 15 team and I don't think this was their best night. I'm sure they would tell you the same thing. We are fortunate to win. It is a really tough conference. Lots of great teams, that is a great volleyball team with a great staff who has had success and once they get healthy I would not be shocked if they made a big run in the tourney.
"That being said I think our young kids played really well. Specifically, I think Deyshia's numbers were great, Briana was exceptional down the stretch, Lexi grew up a little bit. Abigail started for the first time all year and I was proud of her effort. Kamryn Malloy, her numbers are not great, but she played so hard with 18 digs. She played at a really high level. At times we got away from what I wanted them to do, but I think the staff did a great job at getting us ready for the match. Overall, it is a great win for the program and I hope when I get home, I hope my kids aren't out of their minds because they ate four pounds of Halloween candy."
