TEAM
• Michigan was Indiana's second top 5 opponent in 2018 and the eighth since the start of 2015, the second-most nationally (Alabama, 9).
• IU won the toss and deferred to the second half. It marked the fifth time it has won the toss this year, deferring each time.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the 11th time in as many games this season.
• Indiana will battle Purdue for the Old Oaken Bucket in Bloomington next Saturday, Nov. 24, at noon ET on ESPN2.
OFFENSE
• The Hoosiers finished with 385 total yards, the most surrendered by the Wolverines this year. Indiana's 190 rushing yards and 195 passing yards are the second-most allowed by Michigan this season.
• True freshman Stevie Scott moved into the top spot for rushing yards by a true freshman running back at IU, surpassing Mike Harkrader (1,003 yards in 1976). Scott now owns 1,033 yards, becoming the 19th player, the second true freshman and the third freshman in program history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark.
• The Syracuse, N.Y., native finished the game with 139 yards on 30 carries (4.6 average) and a 13-yard touchdown, his ninth rushing tally of the year and his 10th overall TD. His 30 attempts are one shy of his top mark.
• With his fifth 100-yard game of the season, Scott moves into a tie with Anthony Thompson (1986) for most 100-yard games by a true freshman in program history.
• He is the third player to record a 100-yard rushing game against Michigan this season and his 139 yards are the second-most.
• Scott now leads all Hoosier true freshmen in rushing yardage, rushing scores and 100-yard games (tied) and is second with 208 attempts.
• Redshirt sophomore Peyton Ramsey finished with 195 yards through the air with one touchdown. He added 51 yards on seven rushes (7.3) on the ground.
• Redshirt junior Nick Westbrook finished the game with four receptions for a team-leading 84 yards.
• Sophomore wide receiver Ty Fryfogle recorded his third touchdown of the year, a 7-yarder, in the second quarter.
• Fifth-year senior Luke Timian led the team with six catches and finished with 62 yards.
DEFENSE
• Marcelino Ball recorded his first interception this year and the third of his career in the third quarter. The redshirt sophomore finished with a team-high 10 tackles, including six solos. It marked his fourth career game with 10 stops.
• Indiana has 25 takeaways in 2018 and has recorded at least one in 17 straight games, good for the second-longest streak in the nation.
• IU has recorded an interception in 10 games this year, including nine straight games. The Hoosiers have 12 interceptions overall, with Ball becoming the 10th different player to record one.
• Fifth-year senior linebacker Dameon Willis Jr. finished the game with six tackles, including three solo efforts, and one pass breakup.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford made his 49th career start and posted five stops with one PBU.
• Redshirt junior defensive end Gavin Everett posted a career-high five tackles, all solos, with one pass breakup.
• True freshman linebacker James Miller made his first career start.
SPECIAL TEAMS
• Redshirt junior kicker Logan Justus connected on a pair of field goals from 41 and 36 yards, giving him 15 makes on the year (T-8th in school history) in 17 attempts (88.2 percent). The game marked the fifth multi-field goal performance of his career.
• He has made a career-high eight consecutive field goals (T-7th in program history) and is 4-for-6 from 40-plus yards, converting on his last three.
• Senior long snapper Dan Godsil made his 49th career start.
