Hoosiers Fall at Virginia to Open Season

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Indiana wrestling team fell in dual competition by a score of 25-12 against Virginia on Saturday to open the season.

The Hoosiers (0-1) got off to a good start as redshirt freshman Paul Konrath put the Hoosiers up 3-0 in the match with a 10-3 decision.

Norman Conley also prevailed for the Hoosiers on a takedown in sudden victory, 7-5 against NCAA Qualifier Will Schany.

Up next the Hoosiers will compete tomorrow in the Hokie Open in Roanoke, Va.
