SOME MILLER ERA BESTS AGAINST CHICAGO STATE
IU eclipsed the century mark for the first time under Coach Miller. The team scored a season-high 87 points three times last year. In addition, the 39 field goals topped last season's best of 33. The Hoosiers 12 steals matched their best effort against Youngstown State a year ago. IU's 33 free throws attempted tied last year's standard established against Indiana State.
The 51 points off the bench eclipsed last year's season-high of 39 against Howard. Junior Devonte Green had 15 and senior Evan Fitzner added 14 as reserves. Since the 1996-97 season, IU had only scored 50 points off the bench twice before. The Hoosiers scored 53 against Drake on December 27, 1998 and 50 against Buffalo on December 10, 1999.
