Postgame Notes
• Indiana allowed 35 points, its fewest allowed in a game since allowing 29 to Notre Dame on Dec. 18, 1971.
• IU improved to 3-0 all-time against the Montana State Bobcats. Their last meeting was Nov. 29, 1986 when the Hoosiers won 90-55.
• The Hoosiers held the Bobcats to shooting 25 percent from the field, the lowest mark for an opposing team since Rutgers shot 24.1 percent on Feb. 5, 2018.
• Montana State shot 12 percent from three-point range, the lowest IU has allowed since Youngstown State shot 8 percent on Dec. 29, 2017.
• Twenty-four points (43-19) is the biggest halftime lead of the Archie Miller era.
• The Hoosiers went on a 12-2 run from 16:37 to 12:14 in the first half to extend their lead to 20-9.
• From 11:55 to 4:20, IU came out with a 14-1 run while they held the Bobcats scoreless for 6:24.
• Indiana opened the second half on a 15-2 run spanning six minutes and 35 seconds.
• Senior forward Juwan Morgan recorded his 10th career double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds).
• Morgan had a perfect day from the field (6-for-6), marking the second time he's shot 100 percent with six or more attempts. The previous time was when he went 8-for-8 against SIU-Edwardsville on Dec. 2, 2016.
• Freshman guard Romeo Langford scored in doubles digits (12) for the second straight game including hitting on his first career three pointer.
• Freshman guard Rob Phinisee played the most minutes (26) of any Hoosier and recorded 12 points. From long distance, Phinisee went 3-for-4.
• Junior guard Devonte Green led the Hoosiers with five assists and dropped in two points.
• Junior forward De'Ron Davis notched eight points, four rebounds and a team-high three blocks.
• Sophomore forward Justin Smith made his mark with 13 points and tied his career-high with two assists while adding two steals and a block.
• Sophomore forward Clifton Moore had a career-high five rebounds.
• Redshirt senior forward Evan Fitzner went 3-for-4 from the field on his way to scoring six points on top of three rebounds and an assist.
• Redshirt senior guard Zach McRoberts hit on his only shot attempt and added two assists and a steal in eight minutes. McRoberts didn't play in the second half due to tightness in his back.
• Freshman forward Damezi Anderson knocked down a three pointer for the second straight game.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Vijay Blackmon made his second appearance and played two minutes.
