Missouri State comes in to Sunday's game on a three-game skid after falling to South Dakota on Tuesday, 85-74. They are led by senior guard Danielle Gitzen who averages 12.0 points and 3.8 assists per game. Freshman forward Jasmine Franklin adds 10.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest. MSU picked up its only win over Ball State on Nov. 17. They were picked to finish third in the Missouri Valley this season and are coming of a WNIT appearance in 2017-18.

- The Hoosiers improved to 8-0 and continued on the program's best start since 2013-14 with a 66-46 win over Butler on Wednesday night.
- Redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise recorded her second double-double of the season to lead IU with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg (16 points) and sophomore guard Bendu Yeaney (13 points) also added double figures for the Hoosiers who held the Bulldogs to just 29.5 percent shooting.
- With the win on Wednesday, Indiana extended its win streak to 14, which is the longest active win streak in the nation. They have also won 16-straight home contest, the eighth-longest streak in the country.
- IU is receiving votes in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll. They are one of eight Big Ten teams ranked or receiving votes.
- Patberg is leading the way for Indiana, averaging 17.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.6 assist per game. Four are averaging double figures for Indiana through eight games, with Wise adding 14.8 points per game along with sophomore guard Penn (12.1 ppg.) and Yeaney (10.1 ppg.).
