OPENING TIP
• The 118th season of Indiana basketball continues on Friday when the Hoosiers host Ohio State in the regular season finale for both teams. Indiana is coming off a 66-57 loss at Nebraska, while OSU defeated Rutgers, 79-52 in Columbus. The Buckeyes won this season's earlier meeting between the two teams in Columbus, 71-56. IU has won the last 3 meetings in Assembly Hall dating back to the 2013-14 season.
• The Hoosiers will be either the No. 6 or No. 7 seed at next week's Big Ten Tournament in New York City.

• Archie Miller is the 29th head coach in Indiana men's basketball history. He won his 150th career game with the triumph over Northwestern on Jan. 14. The 39-year old native of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, comes to IU after serving the previous six seasons as head coach at the University of Dayton, where he won Atlantic 10 Conference regular season championships in 2016 and 2017. He was Atlantic-10 Coach of the Year in 2017. He guided the Flyers to a 139-63 record (69.8) and a 68-34 mark (66.7) in the Atlantic 10. He took Dayton to the NCAA Tournament each of the last four years, with the Flyers advancing to the Elite Eight in the 2014 Tournament. UD was nationally ranked in 3 of Miller's 6 seasons (2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16).
• Chris Holtmann is in his 1st year of leading the Buckeyes. This will be his second game in Assembly Hall as a head coach. He was the head coach at Gardner Webb when they visited Assembly Hall in November 2011.
