
Receveur Breaks School Record at Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – The Hoosiers broke one school record, set two personal records and two personal outdoor records at the Stanford Invitational Friday night.
Junior Katherine Receveur broke her own 5,000m school record when she crossed the finish line in 15:43.26, setting an outdoor personal record. Receveur previously set the record at the 2017 Outdoor NCAA Championships with the time of 15:44.80. The Louisville, Ky. native now holds the school record in the 5,000m (outdoor), the 3,000m (indoor), the 5,000m (outdoor) and the 6,000m (cross country).
Junior Maggie Allen moved up one spot in the IU record books when she finished her 5,000m in 15:51.73, which is now the second fastest time in school history. Allen improved her outdoor time by about nine seconds to pass Michelle Dekkers (15:53.12) in the school rankings.
In the men's 5,000m freshman Ben Veatch finished tenth overall in the invitational section with a personal best time of 13:50.49. Sophomore Bryce Millar and sophomore Kyle Mau ran in the second section of the 5,000m. Millar finished 14th overall with the time of 14:04.26. Mau set a personal record of 14:07.47.
