Indiana Throwers Prepared For The Spec Towns Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A group of five throwers will travel to Athens, GA to compete in the Spec Towns Invitational hosted by the University of Georgia.
Friday will feature junior Andrew Miller and junior Nycia Ford in the hammer throw at 12:00 pm ET, with the women's scheduled to follow the men's. Ford set a personal record of 59.58m (195' 5") last month at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge hosted by Arizona Sate University.
Sophomore Khayla Dawson will start the Hoosiers off Saturday in the women's shot put at 11:00 am ET. Dawson set a personal record of 16.72m (54' 10.25") at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge last month. The men's shot put featuring junior Willie Morrison and junior David Schall is set to start after the conclusion of the women's shot put.
Dawson, Morrison and Schall are all scheduled to compete in the discus starting at 1:00 pm ET, with the women going first and the men to follow.
