WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – Overnight rain combined with the rain in the forecast for Sunday, the final round of the Boilermaker Invitational was cancelled due to unplayable conditions on the Kampen Course. As a result, the standings following Saturday's 36 holes become official and the Hoosiers earn a third-place finish as a team.

Individually, redshirt junior Jake Brown earned his second straight top 5 finish by posting scores of 68 and 73, which is good for fourth place.

Sophomore Brock Ochsenreiter joined Brown in the top 10 after opening with a 69 in round one and then following it up with a 74 in round two on Saturday. It is his third consecutive top 12 finish.

Jack Sparrow finished tied for 30th at 3-over par through 36 holes while Evan Gaesser was tied for 70th and Brendon Doyle tied for 73rd.

Freshman Ethan Shepherd, who competed as an individual and not part of the IU team score, finished tied for 41st at 4-over par.

The next tournament for Indiana will be the Big Ten Tournament from April 27-29 at the Baltimore Country Club – East Course.
