IU Will Look To Rebound After Difficult Opening Round at Big Ten Championship

BALTIMORE, Maryland – The first day of the Big Ten Men's Golf Championship didn't go as planned for Indiana, as they posted a team score of 308 and are in 14th place heading into round two. But the Hoosiers have two more rounds to rebounds and get back in the thick of things.

The top individual performer for IU in round one was senior Brendon Doyle, who carded a 6-over par 76 and is tied for 49th. Doyle was even through his first eight holes but two bogeys and two double bogeys derailed his round down the stretch.

Jake Brown and Brock Ochsenreiter are tied for 56th at 7-over par while Evan Gaesser is tied for 63rd at 8-over par and Ethan Shepherd is 12-over par and in 69th place.

The second round will begin at 10:25 a.m. with the Hoosiers going off the 10th tee. Follow live scoring on GolfStat.com.
