Harper Opens Up Play at NCAA Regionals On Monday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Junior Erin Harper will represent Indiana Women's Golf as one of six individuals play in the NCAA Regional in Madison, Wis. Monday-Wednesday at University Ridge Golf Course.

Wednesday, May 9 – Tee times beginning at 9:45 a.m. ET
Harper will be making her second NCAA Regional appearance as she played as part of the IU team that qualified in 2015-16. She posted a 73.32 average and picking up medalist honors at the Fresno State Classic where she scored a 54-hole season low of 211. She has two other top 13 finishes on the season and has posted 12 of 25 rounds at or under par. Harper recently finished T22nd at Big Ten Championships on April 20-22 at TPC River's Bend where she shot a 219 (76-70-73). Her season low round came in the opening round of the Ptarmigan Ram Classic where she shot a 69 on her way to a T11th finish.
The Dublin, Ohio native is the first individual to play in the NCAA Championships for Indiana since Elizabeth Tong played in the 2015 Regional at Notre Dame. The low six teams and low three individuals, not on those teams, will advance to NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Okla. on May 18-23.
