
No. 4 Hoosiers Head to No. 12 Notre Dame on Tuesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 4-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will head north to face the No. 12-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Tuesday night in South Bend, Ind.
The match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. ET start at Alumni Stadium. The match will be streamed live by ACC Network Extra on WatchESPN. Live stats can be found at IUHoosiers.com.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 4-ranked Indiana Hoosiers will head north to face in-state rival and No. 12-ranked Notre Dame on Tuesday night in South Bend, Ind.
• The Hoosiers enter the match riding a four-game win-streak that includes wins over three ranked opponents - North Carolina, Dartmouth and UConn.
• On Friday, Indiana posted the team's fourth-straight shutout in impressive fashion, beating VCU, 5-0, at Armstrong Stadium. Five different Hoosiers scored goals in the victory.
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING IRISH
• Notre Dame enters Tuesday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 3-0-1 on the season.
• The Fighting Irish have tallied wins over Valparaiso, No. 18 UConn and No. 22 Dartmouth. UND played Saint Louis to a 1-1 draw.
• Patrick Berneski leads the Irish with four goals on the season. No other player has more than one score this year.

• The Hoosiers had a tremendous showing against Atlantic 10 power VCU on Sept. 7, beating the Rams, 5-0, on goals from five different players.
• The five goals in the first half for the Hoosiers were the most since IU netted five in the second half in a 5-0 win over Cal State Northridge on Sept. 16, 2005.
• The Hoosiers had five different goal scorers in the win and had 11 players take the team's 12 shots. In total, 21 players saw the pitch for Indiana in the victory.

DORSEY NAMED TO USMNT U-20 TEAM
• Sophomore Griffin Dorsey was named to the U.S. Men's National Team roster for the 2018 U-20 Men's Invitational tournament at IMG Academy in Brandenton, Fla. from Sept. 7-11.
• The U.S. U-20 Men's National Team will face Venezuela and Jamaica, as well as square off against the U.S. U-19 team in the round-robin style competition.
