The Indiana men's golf team entered Sunday's final round of the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational in 11th place and after a team score of 299 in round three, the Hoosiers finished the day in 11th place.

• Junior Brock Ochsenreiter started his final round by playing his first nine holes in 1-under par (one birdie, eight pars). But his second nine holes saw the tide turn against him and he finished the day at 4-over par. That put him at 6-over par for the tournament and a tie for 22nd.

• It marks the fifth Top 25 finish in the last six events for Ochsenreiter and the ninth career Top 25 finish.

• True freshman Mitch Davis continued to play steady golf, posting the best round of the day for the Hoosiers in round three with a 3-over par 73. He capped off his round with a birdie on his last hole to move into a tie for 27th at 218 (73-72-73; +8).

• Ethan Shepherd carded a 77 in his final round to finish 48th individually with a score of 222 (72-73-77; +12).

• Redshirt senior Jake finished in a tie for 49th with a score of 224 (+14) after a final round 75.

• Redshirt senior Jack Sparrow closed out the weekend with an 80 in his final round. He finished 74th with a score of 234.

• Indiana is back on the links next weekend at the Windon Memorial outside Chicago at Knollwood Club, hosted by Northwestern University. The tournament runs from Sept. 23-24 with live scoring available via GolfStat.com.
