No. 2 Indiana Blanks Penn State for Ninth-Straight Win

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
• With just 42 second left in the first half, Austin Panchot netted his third goal of the season to give the Hoosiers (9-1, 3-0 Big Ten) the lead. Playing on the left side, Spencer Glass played the ball to Ian Black, who crossed the ball to the near post. Black's cross found Panchot, who headed the ball past the Penn State (2-6-1, 1-2-1) goalie for the score.
• In the 68th minute, Rece Buckmaster took a tremendous cross from Spencer Glass and scored on a great header, beating the Nittany Lions' keeper from seven-yards out.
• Hoosier goalkeeper Trey Muse recorded his fourth shutout of the season without having to make a save.

• IU is 3-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2012.
• The Hoosiers have won nine-straight matches, the longest for the team since winning 10-consecutive in 2003.
• Indiana's 25 goals through the first 10 matches of the season are the most for the program since scoring 27 in the first 10 games in 1998.
