• Since Maryland joined the Big Ten Conference, the home team is now 6-0 in the series. IU leads the all-time series with the Terrapins, 8-6.
• Indiana shot 49.1 percent from the floor (26-53) to mark the 11th time in 16 games that the Hoosiers shot 49.0 percent or better from the floor.
• Indiana was 16-of-16 at the free throw line in the game, the best effort since an 18-of-18 effort at Ohio State on Jan. 27, 1988.
• The Hoosiers opened the game with a 17-4 run and took their biggest lead of the game at 28-14 with 7:43 left in the first half.
• For the second straight game, Indiana registered just seven turnovers – a season-low. The last time IU had back-to-back games of seven or less turnovers was Feb. 10, 2008 at Ohio State (7) and Feb. 13, 2008 against Wisconsin (5).
• Romeo Langford matched his season-high with 28 points while also adding three assists and two rebounds. He was 3-of-6 from long range to set a new season best for 3FG made. It's the seventh game with 20 or more points this season and the second time in the last three games he has scored 28 points.
• Langford's 9-of-9 effort at the free throw line is the best by an IU player since Aljami Durham went 10-of-10 against Rutgers in the Big Ten Tournament on March 1, 2018.
• Langford scored 20 points in the second half, becoming the first IU player to score 20 points in a half since James Blackmon Jr. on Nov. 16, 2016 against UMass Lowell.
• Juwan Morgan added 14 points and eight rebounds. He now has 1,094 career points, which ranks 48th all-time in IU history, just one behind Daryl Thomas for 47th. Morgan also had one blocked shot, giving him 105 in his career and sole possession of 10th place in the career blocks list at Indiana.
• Devonte Green tallied 15 points in addition to three rebounds and two assists. He was 5-of-5 at the free throw line.
• Justin Smith battled foul trouble but still finished with eight points and three rebounds and a team-best +22 plus/minus.
• Aljami Durham was 2-of-4 from the 3-point line and finished with eight points and two assists.
• Rob Phinisee, seeing his first action since leaving the game vs. Jacksonville on Dec. 22 with a concussion, made a pair of free throws for his two points.
• Evan Fitzner played 17 minutes and hauled in two rebounds and dished out one assist.
• Zach McRoberts grabbed a pair of rebounds in his 13 minutes off the bench.
