BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Basketball is set to take on No. 11/10 Maryland in a Noon ET tip on Sunday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The game will be live on Big Ten Network as the Hoosiers celebrate National Girls and Women In Sports Day and Alumni Day.

- The Hoosiers are fresh off a 70-60 win over Michigan on Thursday night at home. They were led by sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn who set a new career-high 28 points by going 6-for-7 from the 3-point line. Redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise added 12 points in the win.
- Penn has scored in double figures in the last eight games, upping her season average to 13.7 points per game this season. Her career-high on Thursday night was the seventh 20-plus point scoring game of her career.
- With the conference in a tight race to start the season, IU sits just a game behind Maryland, Iowa and Purdue who are all tied for second. IU also begins a two-game stretch facing ranked opponents against No. 11/10 Maryland and at No. 14/18 Rutgers on Thursday.
