- Indiana begins a two-game road swing and play the next four of five games away from Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers have split its road games in the Big Ten so far with wins at Wisconsin and Illinois.
- Sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week honor roll on Monday after her career performance last week. She set a new career-high 28 points on six 3-pointers in the win over the Wolverines and added a team-high 15 points against No. 11 Maryland.
- The Hoosiers will meet their third ranked opponent of the season and second consecutive Top 25 foe in Rutgers on Thursday. The Hoosiers have split games against ranked opponents this season, beating No. 15/17 Michigan State on Jan. 6.
- The league leading Scarlet Knights are coming off a 69-61 win at Penn State on Sunday. Their previously unblemished conference mark was deterred at Iowa on Jan. 23 and are a game ahead the rest in the Big Ten standings.
