CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Indiana volleyball team fell on the road at No. 17 Illinois 3-0 (10-25, 13-25, 14-25) on Saturday at Huff Hall.

- Illinois scored eight of the first 10 point of the first set to jump out to an 8-2 lead.
- In the second set, trailing 9-5, Indiana used a kill from Kamryn Malloy and a block by Deyshia Lofton and Hayden Huybers to get within two at 9-7.
- At 9-7 in the second set, Illinois scored five straight points to extend their lead to 14-7. Illinois would go on to win the second set, 25-13.
- Indiana scored the first two points of the third set with an ace by Kamryn Malloy and a kill from Hayden Huybers.
- After Illinois scored three straight to go up 11-6 in set three, the Hoosiers responded with a 3-0 run and got within 11-9 on a block by Lofton and Malloy.
- Illinois scored five of the last six points of the third set to win it 25-14.

- The Hoosiers fell to 12-7 overall and 1-5 in Big Ten play. Illinois improved to 9-6 overall and 4-2 in Big Ten play.
- Deyshia Lofton led the Hoosiers with five kills and three blocks in the match. Lofton is now two blocks from moving into eighth on the Indiana all-time list for career blocks. She currently has 388 career blocks.
- Seven different players at least one kill for the Hoosiers.
