IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Indiana volleyball team won the first set before dropping the match in four sets (25-20, 24-26, 9-25, 17-25) against Iowa on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

- Trailing 8-6 in the first set, Jacqui Armer recorded three straight kills to put Indiana up 9-8.
- Iowa led 19-16 in the first set, at which point Indiana scored nine of the next 10 points to win the set, 25-20.
- The Hoosiers started the second set scoring the first four points and went up 4-0 on a kill from Kendall Beerman. Iowa went on to score five of the next six points to tie it 5-5.
- With Indiana leading 24-23 in the second set, Iowa scored three straight points, to win the set, 26-24.
- In the fourth set Indiana closed to within two at 15-13, but Iowa used a 5-0 run to increase their lead to 20-13. Up 20-15 Iowa scored three straight points to go up 23-15 and won the fourth set, 25-17.

- The Hoosiers fell to 12-9 overall and 1-7 in Big Ten play. Iowa improved to 8-11 overall and 2-6 in Big Ten play.
- Breana Edwards led the Hoosiers with 16 kills and 13 digs for the double-double. The 13 digs tied her career-high.
- Jacqui Armer hit .333 with nine kills and added two blocks.
- Victoria Brisack recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 22 assists and 10 digs.
- Haley Armstrong led the Hoosiers in digs with 16 for the match.
