Hoosiers Return to Action at Joe Piane Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— Indiana Cross Country returns to action for the first time in nearly two weeks as they compete in the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame. The meet is set for Friday, Oct. 4 at the Notre Dame Golf Course.

The Hoosiers will contend in the women's 5K Blue Race and men's five mile Blue Race on Friday afternoon. The Indiana women will run first at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 1:45 p.m. EST.

Teams that are set to compete are Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Belmont, Boston College, Bradley, Butler, Colorado, Colorado State, Eastern Kentucky, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Minnesota, NC State, New Mexico, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Purdue, Southern Utah, Utah, Utah Valley, Washington, Weber State, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Last time Indiana saw action was at the John McNichols invite at Indiana State. Redshirt freshmen Keelan Grant and Anna Barrott led the Hoosiers as Grant 28^th with a time 25:03.9. On the women's side Barrott took 67^th with a time of 18:24.6.
