Eisenhut Tied for 27th After Two Rounds at Medinah

MEDINAH, Ill. – Indiana women's golf freshman Anni Eisenhut currently leads the Hoosiers at the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah after two rounds. Eisenhut ended the day tied for 27th after shooting 2-over-par.

CHIP-INS
• Eisenhut registered five birdies in the first round as she carded an even-72, which is a career-best for the freshman. In the second round, she picked up three more birdies, including two on the back nine.
• Junior Mary Parsons also carded an even-72 in the opening round and had two birdies in each round, including both times on hole No. 7, where she began in the shotgun start.
• Sophomore Alexis Miestowski shot a 75 before improving her score by one stroke in the second round to end the day at 5-over-par. In the second round, she carded three birdies on the front nine.
• Junior Priscilla Schmid also improved by a stroke in the second round, carding a 75 to move into a tie at 57th. She birdied the longest hole on the course – No. 16 – which measures 519 yards.
• Junior Angela Aung and senior Elisa Pierre, who is competing as an individual, both finished the second round tied for 78th. Both shot a 78 in the opening round before improving by a stroke in the second round.
