IU Cross Country Travels to Madison for NCAA Great Lakes Regional

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Cross Country embarks on their journey to the NCAA Championships with a stop in Madison, Wisc. for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The meet is set for Friday, November 15th at the Tomas Zimmerman Championship Course.
The women's race will kick off the meet at 12:30 p.m. ET. Six teams enter the Great Lakes Regional ranked within the top-30 of the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. Michigan State (6), Wisconsin (7), Michigan (11), Ohio State (20), Illinois (22), and Butler (24) are all ranked headed into the weekend.
After the women's race, the men will toe the line starting at 1:30 p.m. ET. Five men's teams from the Great Lakes Region are ranked in the top-30 of the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. Wisconsin (9), Indiana (13), Michigan (16), Purdue (17), and Notre Dame (19) are all ranked.
Both the men's and women's races will stream live on FloTrack.
For Indiana, Ben Veatch and Kyle Mau lead the way for the men. The duo finished fourth and sixth at the conference meet on Nov. 3 and as a team the Hoosiers finished in second place. On the women's side, Bailey Hertenstein secured runner-up honors individually while as a unit, Indiana took eighth.
