Hu, Staiculescu Win Doubles Draw at Alabama Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– Xiaowei "Rose" Hu and Alexandra Staiculescu won their doubles draw to highlight the Hoosiers results at the Alabama Classic.
Hu and Staiculescu went 3-0 in doubles on the way to winning the draw. The duo had wins of 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1 in the final match.
In singles competition several Hoosiers performed well. Staiculescu, Michelle McKamey, Annabelle Andrinopoulous, and Mila Mejic each won two of three singles matches at the tournament.
The Alabama Classic concludes the fall season for Indiana. The Hoosiers will compete next Jan. 18-20 as they host the annual IU Winter Invitational.
