Couch and Sensenig Receive Big Ten Season Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill.— The Big Ten Conference announced their field hockey season awards on Wednesday afternoon. Indiana Field Hockey's Hailey Couch was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team. Senior Grace Sensenig earned the Sportsmanship Award.
Couch led the Hoosiers offense with 10 goals and one assist for 21 total points this season. The sophomore also scored her first career hat trick at Michigan State on Sept. 20. Indiana went on to defeat the then No. 23 Spartans, 4-2. Prior to the 2019 season, She was chosen to participate in USA Field Hockey's Young Women's Championships and was also named to the Big Ten Conference's preseason watch list.
Sensenig came off the bench this season to aid the backline in their efforts. She played in 16 games for the Hoosiers this season. The students chosen for this Big Ten award have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
